The nearest airport to Ujjain is Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport (IDR) in Indore, which is approximately 55 kilometers away. From the airport, taxi and cab services are available to reach Ujjain. The journey takes around 1-2 hours, depending on traffic conditions.

Ujjain Junction Railway Station (UJN) is the main railway station in Ujjain and is well-connected to major cities across India. Many trains pass through Ujjain. Once you reach the railway station, taxis are available to reach the Mahakal Temple. The temple is located in the heart of the city, and it takes about 10-15 minutes to reach, depending on traffic conditions.

By Road
