In which the idols of Lord Jagannath, his brother Balabhadra, and sister Subhadra are taken out in a grand procession on chariots. It usually takes place in June or July and attracts millions of devotees from all over the world. During the festival, the deities are taken out in a procession on three elaborately decorated chariots (Rath), which are pulled by thousands of devotees. The festival is considered a symbol of unity and attracts people from all over the world. The temple showcases exquisite Kalinga-style architecture and is known for its intricate carvings and sculptures.
